DSAC Seeks Members
Multnomah County Disability Services Advisory Council (DSAC)is looking for new members. The mission of the DSAC is to provide input to Multnomah County Aging and Disability Services (ADS) on how best to serve people with disabilities in a respectful and conscientious manner.
DSAC members are people with disabilities and other advocates who are committed to seeing that Multnomah County Aging and Disability Services meets the needs of their customers.
The Multnomah DSAC:
  • Provides advice to ADS on services
  • Reviews comments and complaints from customers of ADS, and offers constructive suggestions for improvements
  • Provides advocacy for ADS customers
  • Learns about programs available to people with disabilities
  • Reviews the ADS budget
  • Works with other local, regional and statewide organizations on disability issues
