To help set budget priorities, the county has developed strategies in six priority areas. In February, the Citizen Involvement Committee and the City Club of Portland hosted a public discussion of these strategies.

Each forum began with comments by a panel of community experts. This was followed by small groups where citizens discussed their views on the priorities for accomplishing the stated goal. The results of those discussions area below and have been be provided to the county commissioners.
